Mr. Bond...From your response we can assume you have not
followed the thread very long...since you have formed erroneous
conclusions.

One does not need to defend x y zebra since in an argument you
are clearly outmatched...

Monarchies are anachronistic in today's world.
From outside the U.K. one is never quite sure whether the
British treat their own monarchy as comic relief or with pride.

Many countries have other sources of national pride (economies)
...that in my personal values, mean more than a monarchy that has been referred as a national parasite.

(It should be noted that the British are turning the corner quicker
than other European countries with young successful and aggressive businessmen. Good show Britain!)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The British monarchy reminds of the the saying..........

Where would you like to be when the World comes to an end?

Britain!

Why?

Everything happens 50 years later there!

-------------------------------------------------------------------

In conclusion, I have great respect for the British...

However, I have little respect for the Royal family that does not
live up to values they claim to represent.
