ron, to be honest with you, i would imagine companies would replace what needs to be replaced to keep lines going. i have heard this is what fanuc will be doing. i don't understand a "band-aid" being used because if a band-aid is used wouldn't you just keep the band-aid in place until you upgrade the line/machinery/whatever? best
