Umm, huh? You originally stated that the FDA has "killed people" by keeping drugs OFF the market. And then you use Thalidomide as an example.

The FDA kept thalidomide OFF the market and saved a bunch of birth defects, which happened in Europe because they rushed the drug to market.

Now, how about an example that supports your original thesis?
