Mr. Probart, you have mischaracterized my meaning. I was referring to the "market" like Goldman Sachs, The Allen Company, Anglo Gold, Smith Barney, etc. etc. I mean those with BILLIONS to spend somewhere who in turn can send a stock soaring. I also mean the market like a CNBC interview talking about the fantastic opportunities with GE.
The proof of the pudding is that AFTER an INTERNAL company report which was translated well enough to announce the worlds largest deposit but apparently NOT translated in English to release to the "market" the stock went to a HIGH of around $0.50 with previous company highs in the $5 to $6 range. If this release was so convincing to all of us investors, who was SELLING at $0.50 that drove it back down to $0.32? That does NOT speak of high confidence.
And this translation stuff is a little too much to take. Who in management thought it was a good idea to just keep doing all reporting in Spanish knowing it wouldn't be able to be released at the same time the company was willing to go out on a limb with the claim of "world's largest deposit"?
As far as Guido goes, he can test until he is blue in the face, but clearly, if you have done ANY DD at all, you will know that no BIG money is coming in until you have third party from start to finish.
Bre-X had lots of third party testing, but NO third party drilling, sampling, bagging, etc. And THAT is what makes all the major money investors nervous. When a company like GE, in a mining climate that still has Bre-X, Delgratia, IPM still fresh on its mind, would go through thousands and thousands of tests and spend a tremendous amount of money proving "proof" of more and more and more gold and never stop to ask for third party work so that the world would KNOW that it was real.
This is NOT personal. This is an investment. I hope GE has the gold. I really do. But I also accept that an SEC halt does not help things at all and no investment in third party drilling and sampling hurts things quite a bit. GE needs to manage this a little better if they have what they say they have.
Good luck.
