Is Ascend a corporate member of Internet2? I read that Cisco, 3Com, Bay, Nortel, Lucent, Fore and Cabletron are all corporate members of Internet2 but I did not see any mention of Ascend. If you believe that Internet2 is a model of things to come for the public internet, it would seem important for them to be a player.
