Tony - Re: "Intel Programmable Microcode" I don't have the answers to your detailed questions regarding placement of the microcode, size, and implementation. However, Intel has made extensive use of the programmable features during the product development cycle. It looks like Intel is STILL MAKING USE of this feature! Paul
