There are very few followers of the MCD thread. MCD is just too boring for the average SI poster.

I don't have any inside information about the meeting you reference. However, MCD has a long history of stock splits when the price reaches current levels, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a split soon. There's another example of how boring MCD is - you know it is going to split every few years (and raise dividends, as well) - it's a given. Where's the excitement in that???
