K, No synergy???? waddaya kiddin'? That's absolute nonsense!!! A semi company with semi products in Hard drives, SCUZI interfaces, also CDROM coded chips, possible network experience, a new semi fab, and you say NO synergy? Hyndai and other Koreans had their currency halved and their business down the dumper and LSI and other US companies are picking the bones of their carcasses and you say YOU NEED synergy and when it is there you can't recognize it. This is a bargain by any standard so don't look a gift horse in the mouth. $750 million is real cheap. ...now why do I have the feeling you got caught on the wrong side of this deal and losing on your play...why I do I suspect that you are really on the short side of LSI??? It is OK if you are but don't play us for fools. You always sounded like one who is negative on LSI and therefore it never made sense that you were long. Sorry but your credibility dropped a couple of notches on that posting. DavidG
