I queried about GenVec on another SI board and got the following response:

On CNBC, Robert Langreth, the medical reporter for the Wall Street Journal, just mentioned GenVec, Collateral Therapeutics, and Vascular Genetics as the leaders in angiogenesis since Genentech got this area of research kicked off. I have decided to invest in GenVec when it goes public this week.
