Company Press Release

Unisys Introduces the Aquanta QS/2, its First Four-Way NT
Server Based on Intel's New Pentium II Xeon Processor

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 1998--As part of its continuing initiative
to bring enterprise-class computing solutions to the Windows NT operating environment, Unisys
Corporation today introduced the Aquanta QS/2, the company's first four-way server based on
Intel's new Pentium II Xeon Processor.

The new product was introduced at Intel Corporation's [Nasdaq:INTC - news] worldwide press
event in Santa Clara, where the new family of Intel processors was formally announced. Unisys
participated in Intel's worldwide launch by hosting press events in the United Kingdom, France and
Germany as well as in Santa Clara.

The new Aquanta four-way signals a new era in enterprise-class computing with breakthrough
price/performance. The Aquanta QS/2 has posted record breaking benchmarks of 17,700.43 tpm-C,
an astounding increase of more than 46% over the previous highest ranking TPC-C results of
12,105 tpm-C posted for a four-way system from NEC (see Footnote end of release).

Non Intel-based architectures, such as an Alpha-based or RISC-based server offer solutions
costing as much as $315.78 $/tmpC while the new Aquanta QS/2 features one of the industry's most
economical price/performance solutions at just $26.21/tpmC.

The Aquanta QS/2 supports up to four Intel Pentium II Xeon processors, up to 8GB of ECC memory
and offers the industry's most advanced Intel processing power and the very highest performance
and availability crucial to mission-critical database and OLTP applications.

The Aquanta QS/2 was running Microsoft's Windows NT Server Enterprise Edition 4.0 and SQL
Server Enterprise Edition 7.0. Available immediately, the Aquanta QS/2 enterprise server is
priced starting at $11,478.

The Aquanta QS/2 also takes advantage of Intel Extended Server Memory Architecture - a
collection of technologies that allows operating systems and enterprise applications to achieve a
fundamental performance and system benefit and transcend the 4 Gigabyte memory barrier. Intel's
Pentium II Xeon processor can provide the first, complete support for this architecture.

''Unisys continues to raise the bar in terms of offering the industry's most competitive
price/performance enterprise-class solutions. When compared to the price/performance of RISC
and Alpha processing architectures, Intel's breakthrough technology is by far the most cost-effective
solution on the market today.

''The new Aquanta QS/2 is the next evolutionary step in providing enterprise customers with
world-class hardware solutions based on this advanced technology. In addition, we provide
unparalleled support services on a global basis,'' said Leo Daiuto, group vice president and general
manager, Enterprise NT Systems and Product Development & Technology, Unisys Computer
Systems.

''Unisys server solutions with the highly-scaleable Pentium II Xeon processor deliver unsurpassed
value to business users in the enterprise computing market segment,'' said Tom Macdonald,
marketing director, Intel's Enterprise Server Group. ''These solutions deliver excellent flexibility
and versatility, while also providing outstanding price/performance for the customer.''

''During preliminary testing, we have seen significant performance increases over comparable
Pentium Pro-based systems. As our testing of Nasdaq applications on the Aquanta QS/2 progresses,
we expect to see continued increases in performance.

''We envision using the platform for developing new enterprise Windows NT applications in our
real-time market environment,'' said John M. Hickey, Executive Vice President, Nasdaq
Technology Services and Chief Technology Officer, NASD.

''In addition, Nasdaq has been extremely pleased with the quality, style, and support Unisys has
delivered with the new server.''
