Clay, I expect VTSS to stay high for the rest of the year then drop. Todays weakness was a sure sign that its upside potential is limited but I have not heard anything to make me believe it will nose dive anytime soon. I did enjoy shorting and getting a piece of todays $3 drop. It is so easy to make money trading when the day trading range is $3 or more. It is just plain hard work when your trying to pickup quarters and eights in a flat market.

As for earnings vs other value analysis techniques I always consider it to be to my advantage not use or concentrate on the same metrics as everyone else. When I come up with radically different valuations to the rest of the market I can always run the numbers to verify why others think the stock is valued correctly. The nature and source of the difference usually points out potential problems or unaccounted for upside potential.

As for short term changes I think that they are a function only of the market dynamics, simple share supply vs demand. I'm just starting to learn different trading methods, if anyone is an expert in this stuff I sure could use some help. I'm interested in learning about momentum investing, disparity index and Japanese candles especially with respect to VTSS.

regards
Robert Talty
