in what capacity would a criminal work off their debt to their victims. for some reason, i dont picture many criminals being all that empathetic to other people. should we, say, supply them with a job and than garnish their paycheck. what we be the proper alternative to punishment to deter this kind of behavior. seems as though your a bit more concerned about the criminals rights than the victims rights, so in a lot of ways, your stance is widely accepted these days. again, im more along the lines of let the punishment fit the crime... hold people responsible and accountable for their actions, but we are still a nation of laws. thanks for the response. poet.
