Mike, only a few die-hard followers seem to be lurking on the thread. Without the participation of some rabid bulls, sort of same ideas being floated repeatedly. I hate to perpetuate this cycle, but I have limited knowledge about the MBSs. There is an article in today's WSj about the hedgefunds that made big bets in MBSs are hurting very bad. How do you think the hedge-fund activity will effect the market. Judging form the likes of Cramer, I get the impression that most hedgefunds seem to place large bets with the "trend" rather than being "contrarian." In such a case, at some point a steep market drop is going wreck havoc with many hedgefunds, doesn't it? Is the US hedgefund activity big enough to case a market meeltdown?
