The new Lib thread hit the top of the Hot List. Of course I take little credit. <VBG> A lot of Libertarians, and Randian Objectivists in particular, think in terms of black and white. A lot of this comes from wanting things to make sense, in a noncontradictory fashion, and that's certainly true of my own psychological makeup. I am most comfortable being grounded in "reason" and at the same time recognizing that many of lifes joys are found in experiencing colorful, passionate emotions.
IMO, people who make decisions primarily based on feelings need to come to earth a bit more and, conversely, people who think all the time need to fly free once in a while. It's all about balance, don't you think? I'm still learning how to fly.
