Well like I said earlier it does eliminate some risk but unfortunately only some. Investors have a habit of following each other like lemmings running off a cliff. By doing the proper due diligence one can identify a stock that has winning characteristics before the crowd rushes in and thereby make more money much more safely. At some point in time a stock reaches critical mass where fear and greed have the lemmings running in opposite directions. It is often at this point in time when the smart money sells.

That of course is subject to further discussion at dates in the future when some of the stock winners I hope we discover have actually made big gains. In the meantime DD is the name of the game. We might make some bad buys but at least we will better understand what it is we are buying and why.
