Well we differ again. I do not believe any threat is a crime. Only hurting people, hurting someone else's property (not your own) or stealing someone's property is a crime.
Or ought to be.
IMNSHO
As most people who have been alive for a while I have had threats to me. I have never considered the threat a crime: some of them were stupid and some of them scared me but none of them were crime, and lucky for me no one has ever hurt me. I had a co worker who had an ex boyfriend who said he would kill her if she didnt date him. The police made it a crime for him to go near her. (He had a "peace bond" put on him.) Guess what? He killed her anyway, even with the peace bond. Should he have been jailed in advance? Nonsense, he hadnt done anything. Things are going to happen that are bad, we cant stop that. Taking away everyone's individual rights for trying to stop it is useless and worse its morally wrong.
