Some major TDFX bull was commenting on Banshee and saying that
the hardcore gamer will grab a Banshee plus Voodoo 2 SLI.
That made me friggin howl with laughter...the number of gamers so
hurtin for performance that they'd spend 600 bucks for that setup
can be measured in triple digits at most.

It boils down to this - the future is in integrated 2d/3d cards, unless a 3d only card comes out that lots faster and is reasonably
priced. So it certainly seems like TDFX is going to succeed or fail
in the near term over how the Banshee compares to the Matrox, the
PowerVRSG, and the TNT. I look forward to seeing who's going to win
that one in the next couple of months.

Oh yeah, and the TNT had better shape up, cause sub-Voodoo2 performance for $300 is not going to cut it !
