My position on the whole distance, line drivers, baluns debate is a wait and see. I've heard the baluns scenario from a reliable source. I've also been reassured by a number of people that they have have a working solution using line drivers pushing 3000 ft. Don't know what to believe. Time will tell. You know, when I was a kid, one Christmas I was absolutely sure that the box hidden in the closet had one of those super duper green machines in it. Yeh, one of those cool fat wheeled suckers we would tie to the back of our bike with a rope and wing it around the drive way until the kid on the back was wrapped behind the telephone pole. (Where have those sadistic tendencies gone when I need them). Well, my brother assured me that it was done deal. The kid down the road said he saw my mom looking at them in K-Mart. It was sure thing, it had to be. What do you know, come Christmas day that fucking box had a bean bag in it. I wish I could tell you a better analogy for how I feel about this whole damn thing. I believe they have something, but I just aint sure. I hope this Christmas makes up for that one. Who only knows??????????????????????????????????????
