Jenkins: Content was fine. As was pointed out, Jenkins statements 'read' very well. On air effectiveness...Zero: Long term impact...probably Zero as well! Short term impact...bragging rights to shorts for a day. Just like longs had bragging rights yesterday. Given my quarter century in TV/radio/theatre/movies/commercials/grad school prof, et al...(not bragging, just backgrounding)...I felt very badly for Jenkins, who at times appeared to be petrified. For some, public speaking is their greatest fear. Jenkins may fall into that category. He was obviously extremely nervous. His continuous sideways glances gave him a very shifty air. He was embarrassingly ill-prepared for the interview. TAVA must hire a credible media consultant. TV is an editing medium. A pro could have prepared Jenkins for this interview with ease. Whether we like it or not, a media presence plays a role in the perception of your company. To Bill: Yes!
