Currious statement and incorrect. I'm really not that eager to see a split. Why should I be?? A split does nothing to inherently increase the value of the shares or change the fundamentals of the company. For some reason, however, the ANNOUNCEMENT of a split tends to send a stock shaply up for at least the short term. Since I am a lifetime investor in INTC I don't care about these artificial and possibly fleeting increases. My "point", to use your word, was just a matter of curiousity with regards to the logistics of announcing a split.

I think it is you who needs to calm down.

BTW, do you know the answer?
