Message 5036908 Message 5037633 Message 5038964 I have never understood the arguing that takes place about whether or not you can legally short OTCBB stocks inside the USA. I don't have any interest in doing so, but, apparently plenty of people do. I have found that those who-(bashers & hypsters included too) say it IS legal AND done EVERY day are much more persuasive then those who claim otherwise and usually offer DD to back it up. (I have never verified it myself- like I said, I have no interest in using the shorting process). I'm also equally sure that there are restrictions or provisos included in the process. The biggest obstacle IMHO, would be having enough money in your account. But, since you state you are actively looking for a broker that shorts, perhaps you could report back on just what the exact rules and regulations are and WHO does and does not allow it? Sort of a "once and for all this is it" type of DD. This is not meant as a flame or as sarcasm or a bash. It's just that I only see people post that "it" is being done, or, "it" can't be done. I've never came upon someone who admits that they are actively searching for a broker that shorts OTCBBs........ Theo;-)
