Nice language tazman, how unfortunate that your post just happened to be the last one on the thread.
Just went through another couple of hundred posts, got disgusted, logged off, thought about it and came back for one reason only.
How unfair of some to bash the Top Dog team. As far as I know, they are NOT our financial advisors. They work hard to give us the facts as they find them. You believed in them, you praised their virtues, instead of doing your own DD (as they repeatedly told you to do) you relied on their efforts. Now when they decide to no longer follow a certain stock you turn on them. Do you read their mail? Do you remember that in two or three of them they suggested that this might be a good time to do a little profit taking?
Some of us seem to have selective memories. Could their suggestion have been a hint? Remember, they are NOT in this to advise any of us, they are simply working hard to gather information for US. They preface each and every piece of mail with disclaimers. They tell us not to rely on their DD, to do our own.
I did not follow their suggestion....I did not even follow my own charting tools that agreed exactly with what the team said.
I am in so deep on this stock that there is no point in selling now. If it crashes and burns, my loss.
With that said, I am holding on to my MTEI. I still have faith in this company. They have a product. If they can get this product out of the ground and into the marketplace at a reasonable price then we have a winner. It is not going to happen this week. It is not going to happen next month. I'm a patient person....I have time.
I learned patience the hard way. I had some dandy stocks in my portfolio and panicked when I saw a dip, thinking it wasn't just a dip but there was nowhere to go but down. One of them is LBOR. I bought it cheap, if went down a dollar or two...I sold. Wrong move, it is now a major player. Another one is PEGA. Sold at the wrong time. Yes, it is down a bit today but still waaayyy up from when I panicked and sold.
There are also stocks that I bought not based on fundamentals, but based strictly on hype. I knew KTEL wasn't worth a fraction of what it went up to but I rode the wave....sold all but three shares pre-split and make a nice huge profit. I kept the three shares (now 6) just for fun. Just to see what would happen.
My portfolio is looking a little healthier now....now that I have learned patience. I believe that patience will pay off with MTEI. Look the long term, not what you can make in a day, week or month.
I still read my email from the Top Dog team faithfully. I still believe they have great merit. I still read their disclaimers. We were all warned not to take their picks as gospel....the stocks they are watching are what they like at the moment. We all prefer a stock one day and another stock the next. Why should they be different? They are investors!!!! They are not our financial advisors. They give us ideas. They tell us to do our own DD after sharing the results of their own.
So, what is the problem?
