RB Smith, I have written a number of calls against ESV- December 35 collected 3/4 which I antipicate will expire worthless. December 25 collected 1 1/2 . September 20 calls collected 2. I spoke to company management last week- they told me that some contracts the day rates were in the 30s- at the beginning of the year the rates were in the 60s. The current analysts estimates of $1.95 per share might be aggresive is these rates continue. I could conceivably see earnings of only $1.70 for the year if things don't improve. I am now also considering selling the 17 1/2 calls for Sept/ Dec against the position and buying some of the other positions back.
