What is interesting to me is that HMTT raises 1.42% on the day that they warning, RDRT sinks 5.18% or so. RDRT has already warned. So I hope they don't get hammered. I think it is more a function of rising from 6/13 until today. If I had bought in the $7s I too might unload before earnings. But... Pull up a 20 day chart. The line back up has been near to steady, up as she goes. So a little profit taking on half normal volume only makes me a little shakey, but not running for day trading. The light volume too reminds me of ASND during its rebuilding days. As to the hoped for upgrades as a result of the Maxtor 3.4 that I have been looking for, it could be that we wouldn't see those until the earnings release and CC. If you were a Sales Side Analyst would you recommend before a warned lower earnings number is released? Didn't think so. I can wait for 2 weeks. My butt is small enough for the pins and needles....
