I give MIFGY little credit for managing "The Street" and investor relations in general. As an example - they split their stock last March (4 additional for every one held). The split only applied here in the UK (to the 10p Ordinary Shares) - it did not apply in the US to the ADR's.

Reading the BB's it was obvious that these terms were unclear and US investors a plenty piled in. When they realised the real position out they came - causing a very big swing in the stock price. This swing introduced further volatility which resulted in a steep drift down in price.

OK - Martin Waters was hospitalised during this time but the share price fall needed MIFGY to issue some sort of statement to the market - and they took far too long to do so.

I'll post if I get a date for the AGM.

My view - I think that MIFGY are paying too much since there is not yet evidence of a successful ISLI turn around in the bottom line. I need more than one quarter. What I am pleased about is the reporting and overall analysis about their combined prospects. All are agreed that the merger brings super combined prospects - which encourages me.
