Apertus Technologies offers Java emulator preview EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Dec 2 (Reuter) - Apertus Technologies Inc on Monday announced the preview availability of its Java emulator that it says gives cost-effective access to host information from any Web browser. Server-based Apertus Emulator for Java gives an industry-standard Telnet 3270/5250 client that is centrally downloaded on demand, which cuts the need to install and administer client software on every desktop, the company said. The product, which will be available in early 1997 as part of a new suite of Internet-related products, is offered for preview from the Aperuts Web site at apertus. Apertus Technologies Inc provides communications software solutions. Apertus shares traded up 1/16 at 3-1/8. ((--Chicago Newsdesk (312) 408-8787))
