Racom Systems (NASDAQ:RCOM) says Hinds named acting CEO DENVER, June 30 (Reuters) - Racom Systems Inc., a developer of contactless smart cards used in electronic commerce, announced today that its President and CEO, Richard Horton, has resigned to pursue personal interests. Racom said in a statement that John Hinds, currently Chairman of Racom's Board, has assumed the additional responsibility as Racom's Acting CEO while a replacement for Horton is recruited. Hinds joined Racom's Board in December 1997 after serving as an Executive Vice President of Verifone and President of AT&T International.
