Thats a good question... once I have the spreadsheet compiled for a particular day I find it useful to first filter on the stocks that have traded that day. Then maybe I am looking for stocks under a certain amount so I can filter on those. Then maybe I want the top 20 by volume to find where the heavily traded issues are for that day. From that list I can create another yahoo portfolio and see which of those are SEC reporting or which of those have recent news. The most time consuming part is downloading the 32 portfolios in spreadsheet format, so I am working on a little program/script to try and automate it. I am also going to go through and make portfolios of just stocks that are SEC reporting... will post list if interest. Please post if you come up with some other tactics. Thanks
