TokyoMex,

Many moons ago I sent you a PM asking for your take on PKGP. You responded that PKGP was "a scam of the highest order." That was very powerful wording and while I stayed interested in PKGP for many weeks afterwards, your short sentence on the stock did make a difference to me.

I thought about your sentence quite a bit, wondering how you could know such a thing. Were you just giving me a casual opinion? But then why use the wording "of the highest order"? Also, couldn't things change for PKGP that you would not know about?

Weeks went by and for the most part I stayed pro-PKGP. Eventually it was uncovered that APAC (which was supposed to be a big money maker for the company) was a shambles. That really disgusted me since that subset of PKGP was mentioned so prominently, promisingly and glowingly in the 10Q they put out. Ultimately, I made one of those "Goodbye" posts on the PKGP thread, stating my doubts for any who cared to know.

The reason I am posting is because after the events of the past 24 hours, I am grateful to anyone who saved me from getting on that exploding bus. I am a rookie at investing but am happy to say that I've made about 400% this year of my initial investment. I usually invest a large amount of my portfolio in just one stock, so I'm largely a hit-it-all or miss-it-all kind of guy. But what happened to PKGP was a very sobering experience and a great testament to the benefits of diversification.

You take a lot of heat on SI but you were good to me on that call. Just wanted you to know I appreciate it.

Thanks,
Chris
