Thanks, Jim. Sure I've heard of "phosphor technology". Various currently available displays are based on the emission of light from phosphor materials. Those would include CRT, FED, Plasma, and ElectroLuminescent (EL) displays for starters.

None of these have the properties described in Telegen's website. The claim of 10,000:1 contrast is especially interesting. 100:1 is considered "good". If they mean 10,000:1 under typical ambient lighting, then I'll be impressed. If they mean something else, then the comparison shown in their website is deceptive.
