Rhombic Announces Correction to June 2, 1998 Release
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1998-- Rhombic Corporation, a U.S. company listed on the OTC Bulletin Board, wishes to correct the June 2, 1998 press release stating that the company sold a twenty five percent interest in the ''Diamond Fly Wheel Technology'' to Mine-A-Max Corporation of British Columbia.
Rhombic Corporation, and the proposed buyer, Mine-A-Max Corporation, jointly agreed to cancel the twenty five percent sale and purchase ''Diamond Fly Wheel Battery''.
The Company's sale to Mine-A-Max of fifty percent of both the ''Active Engine'' and the ''FaxKey'' projects is not affected by the cancellation of the ''Diamond Fly Wheel'' transaction.
Described as the ultimate browser, the ''Active Engine'' automatically speeds up web searching, usually a time consuming task performed on the internet by thousands of individuals and corporations daily.
The ''FaxKey'' is a combination hardware and software device that offers total security in sending and receiving facsimile messages. By the insertion of a personal key only the intended recipient can retrieve the message.
