Tony,
I think you are so self absorbed that you can't even understand what anyone else is trying to say. If you would listen to understand rather than listen to defend you might be able to follow where I am coming from. You think all the analysts believe this is a good deal? Can't you read? I suggest you real ALL the artilces and not just the ones that support your biased point of view. If everyone felt that way WHY IS THE STOCK TRADING LOWER? And don't give me that BS about this always happens with an acquisition, the sox was up big last week and lsi was down due to acquisition rumors, that effect was already in the stock. The effect you are seeing now is more related to the specific company they acquired.
Just because I am not a raging bull, doesn't mean I am a bear. I am clearly in the bullish camp (if you would read my posts you would know this) but pissed as hell that LSI doesn't know how to sell stock, THAT is what they should be working on to add shareholder value because this deal clearly hasn't done the trick.
BTW what does the INTC thread have to do with LSI and my views? And should I succomb to peer pressure and alter my views simply for that reason? I don't care if you agree with me or not, but for me to change my views simply because other people view the situation differently would be pretty ridiculous wouldn't it? You are defending the company because you own the stock, you are not analyzing the business decision on its own merits.
If you are not interested in hearing both sides of the story, don't read my posts...go ahead and live in your perfect world where every decision and action taken by this company is wonderful. They cannot do any better than they are doing and it is only for reasons that they cannot control that the stock price doesn't reflect their genius....if that is where you want to live than stay there it doesn't impact me one bit.
What's this I see, below 23 again! Oh, it must be because the market is down because everyone knows LSI was handed a gift yesterday that should add $5-10 per share. Oh well, maybe tomorrow the light bulb will go off and the stock will rise. After all K is the only one in the world that thinks the deal is neutral. He must be the one selling! If it weren't for that darned K, all would be well!! |
