Robert, You are correct. Andrea aquired Lamar and is working on a technology that Lamar and AVR Sonovation (www.avrsono.com) developed for hearing impaired people during the past 4 years. During PC Expo, the product was demostrated and amazed the crowd. Literally simulating driving noise of a convertable vehicle on a highway, the device provided error free communication w/ an Auto PC type prototype. They are discussions w/ several Auto PC providers and when you start to see these products, expect deals using the technology, which is explained in detail here: newsalert.com Also, you may want to check out the Andrea thread on Yahoo! which probably is the most thorough source for voice recognition stories, thanks to some very talented web browsers :)...
