The meeting was purely informational, for investors and prospective investor types. The crowd was a mix of shareholders, (older), and younger investor/investment banking types like myself. No new announcements, but more of a general "game plan" was discussed.
After the initial roll-out July 30th, the carriers will be testing Portico and coming up with their own marketing strategies, culminating in what we hope will be a major roll out 1st qtr 1999. This is definitely a buy and hold, although I plan on trading a portion of my holdings, via options or outright.
I was really impressed with the demo; having been in this business for over 12 years, I have seen lots of scams. I am VERY comfortable with this company as an investment. Obviously, it is not without risks, as with any young company. |
