Romania-Croatia:0-1 This was one of the worst performances by Romania I have ever seen! Truly pathetic, gutless, dead...I think they managed to play THE worst game possible. I don't know why teams like Nigeria and Romania manage to lay an egg in the quarterfinals. The Croatians, well they looked like a bunch of Peles out there. It is pathetic for them too that they did not manage to score more goals. And that they won in such a stupid penalty on Suker's dive (the "Norway" effect again, leave it to the Americans to start a new fashion?<g>). If that was a penalty, the Romanians should have been awarded a minimum of two penalties. This was one of the worst officials so far in WC. As a matter of fact, I am not sure who was more ridiculous this Argentinian or the Colombian in the Denmark-S. Africa game. One had a fetish with reds, this one with the yellows mostly on protests (must be the S. American macho style?). And then at the end at stoppage time he calls a foul when the Romanian still had the ball and attacking when he clearly could call the advantage...and he was right there!!!Unbelievably bad! But if there was one team that wanted to win today was Croatia for sure. There is an upside to this...the Romanian coach gets to start coaching the Greek team sooner! This was not an enjooyable game to watch. The only good thing about it was watching the Romanian goalie make some spectacular saves... Could Croatia be dark horse and make it to the semis? Can they beat Ger..., eeehr I mean Geriatric Club...Hmm, I think old sock will beat Croatia easily but I guess anything can happen in this WC. The CLASSIC in about two hours! I see Campbell scoring with a header and silencing Batigol. George
