Hi Ira, just a quick note to let you know I'm back. Am now retired from the Panama Canal and living in Cottonwood, AZ. Just got the computer fired up and signed up with the local Internet provider in Sedona. The first post I read was regarding the purchase by IOM of controlling interest in Nomai! What an interesting way to solve a major legal problem with these Zip copiers. I am optimistic about this, but there will be a lot of problems to address as IOMEGA attempts to regain its footing in this dismal PC market. I would like to see the USB models of the Zip and Jaz released sometime later this year now that Windows 98 supports this mode. Clik! still seems to be under development and the promise to release it in the second half of the year still holds. Just have to wait and see what happens. It will be interesting to see how this Nomai purchase works out and there are still many unanswered questions about just what IOM is getting for its 40+ million dollars. I still have a large holding in the company and am hanging on to see what the year brings. I do hope that the Clik! makes it to market and that we wind up with at least one or two strong OEMs. Japan's economic condiiton does not lend much hope for any quick fixes as it slips into recession, so this will likely continue to be a drag on the tech market in general. Best regards, Its good to be back on SI... Mel
