AON are tough..on one had, its a detriment to get odd lot shares...to sell 233 of 1000 and have 767 for the next days to sell and an extra commission., but if you put an AON qualifier on it, you lose a bit also. You nolonger can have your order represented on inside market as L2 and the nasdaq market does present orders with AON...its simply agreement between firms and they wont let you change the bid on zyz for EXACTLY x number of shares. You want to change thebid, you have got to be willing to take in any number up to your bid.
Regards,
Steve
