Gipper - like so many posters on this thread, you fail to cite reliable source material. As an attorney, I thought you knew the importance of citations. Get out your Bluebook and cite your source. And my point was not that the word does not exist, but that it is so obscure that it is not in the very complete English dictionaries that I cited. (the Oxford dictionary has over 3,700 pages and does not contain "retromingent," "mingens," or "mingere") And that your use of such an obscure word as an insult makes you a pedant, even if I am illiterate. p.s. Those words are not in Webster's Ninth Collegiate dictionary either.
