That is incredibly amazing that a 'public' shcool would
be teaching 'that' to your kids. You must not be in an
area that's being funded by the Goals 2000 program (translation:
Goal of liberals to bring up ignorant children so they
must rely on a socialist govt.). I haven't checked recently
but I think those schools that are being funded are in the majority now.
Also, last I heard was that there were some schools on the East
coast that no longer have spelling tests. (If the kids spelled
the words wrong, why they might get depresed / lose their
self esteem). So lucky you are Steve.
Not to mention the sex 'education' that's being taught now. Nothing but safe sex, safe sex, safe sex. So sad, so sad, so sad.
All this to say...
We as true born again believers MUST,
from the PROMISES of God the Father,
by the POWER of the Holy Spirit,
and the PRAYERS in the name of Jesus Christ
MUST continue to:
lay aside every sin that so easily beset us (Heb 12:1)
stand firm, stand fast, be unmoveable,
always abound in the work of the LORD (1 Cor 15:58),
show diligence (Heb 6:11),
edify the body of Christ, exort and comfort one another(1 Thes 5:11, Eph 4:12)
God help us to be obedient and faithful to You.
I thank God for His patience and mercy upon us.
