I knew, when I tossed that out, you would find some way to avoid the issue. Your response totally ignores the question at hand. You are using non-qualified data as an excuse to avoid the issue.
The question is drugs, not the political or economic system. Besides, if you want to parry on the points you mentioned, you might note that things are not nearly as bad as you painted them. The Netherlands are not on the point of collapse, they may have a more centralized government, but they are not full-blown socialist (how could Royal Dutch Shell exist, then?), and the size of the country is meaningless.
Okay, let's compare the drug related crime rate of Detroit with the Netherlands. Detroit is fairly heterogeneous, has heavy government involvement in its infrastructure, about the same number of people AND is on the point of collapse....
Now I've evened the comparison somewhat.
