Granted, but the majority of people buying a 3D add-on accelerator card already _have_ a 2D card. You're paying extra for something you already own, and most of the 2D cards shipping on systems are already pretty good.. 2D/3D cards only make sense in a low price, OEM market, not high-end add-on market, IMO.
