I agree that the 25% spike was an anomoly. The reasons for the spike are for the reasons I mentioned - initial excitment of Win98 and the recent Apeals Court ruling.

I would really like to know what technical reasons you base your feeling that MSFT will be fine long term. Please tell me how they will address the problems I mentioned in my earlier posting? i.e. NT5 released very near Y2K, DOJ, Win98 sales flop, not to mention the Sun Java lawsuit, the increase in rollout bad-news stories beginning to get into the press, and the press turning on MSFT for the first time ever?

There must be some substantiation behind your feelings. Convince me as to why MSFT will be fine with these huge problems facing them.

Thanks in advnce Nasdaq
