Dave, an excellent reference - I think it is extremely helpful for all micro-cap/BB stock owners to be aware of the "games people play"; especially when the end result is to directly separate those owners from their money and indirectly diminish their retirement security. To me it is a more despicable activity than an armed hold-up. At least then you KNOW you've been had, and how. Here's a little addition on the same subject: Share owners who hold their type 1 / BB (or any other, for that matter) stocks in an IRA at a brokerage don't have to worry about anyone "borrowing" their stock. SEC / Fed rules prohibit anyone who trades in an IRA from trading on margin / shorting stocks, and similarly prohibit the custodian of the account (i.e., the broker) from lending the shares for the purpose of shorting. So says my broker. I've also confirmed that your and the others' advice on other types of brokerage accounts vulnerability is accurate. Great Job! I'd also like to suggest that this type of info either be posted periodically on these message boards, or maybe someone who is more computer-competent than me set up a separate message board where all can contribute this kind of information and those who need it can be referred there. Think the idea has merit?.......Dutch
