It's getting increasingly difficult to believe that Compaq is going to recover until the end of the year. There are reports that retail sales are down. EP has announced another big write off, 1.7 billion. And compaq will most likely be reporting only a few cents earnings in July, if not a loss.

Although I would all like to believe the situation is set for the stock to jump, why are are so many people on this thread optomistic? What am I missing? Looks like it's going to continue to slide around in the high 20's for at least 2-3 more months.
