Argentina 6 x 5 England Final

(Tied 2 x 2 after extra time)

England:

Congratulations tremendous game played, great strategy in the face of a man down disadvantage. One man loss of cool cost them the game.

It is very hard to go home in the face of a Penalty shoot out. I would have played the same strategy, but this time it did not pay off.

Argentina:

Great victory ! incredible substitution (taking out Batistuta), almost cost them the game. Roa the goalie was the great hero of the day.

Ortega needs a team mate such as Hern ndez or Bernkamp to really be a killer combination, Argentina was not able to take advantage of one extra man.

Endless opportunities that either the English defense defused, or simply the Argentinean forwards were not able to convert.

Regardless, in the end Argentina won.

A great game, the best so far, except for that play that earned the England player the red card, forced England to play the defense, but it was the smart choice, otherwise we would have witnessed an even better game yet.

I HATE PENALTY SHOOUT-OUTS....

Z.

Quarter Finals:

Brazil 3 x 1 Denmark

Italia 3 x 2 France

Germany 3 x 2 Croatia

Argentina 2 x 1 Holland
