Many thanks, Tom. I happened to speak with Mike about the subject today. He was, as always, generous with his time in answering my questions. Must be something about people who are attracted to this wonderful art of p&f charting. You and he are a true gentleman and your willingness to share your wisdom is much appreciated.
Michael's answer to the split question was somewhat different. He said to keep the HPT in the back of my mind as it did occur. He said that Earl Blumenthal used to keep up both charts for a while after the split and then concentrated strictly on the post split chart. The TJX HPT was an event that occurred only once before in the last 9 years so I find the pattern to have some significance. It came on the heels of two straight buying climaxes and since I had large gains in the stock I felt it was prudent to sell half my position. With that being said, my future actions with regard to the stock will be dictated by the current roadmap for TJX which is the post split p&f chart.
On another topic, I've become quite interested in Chartcraft's Industry Group Bullish % sum. I've written about it on the thread and I was interested to know if you follow this most interesting indicator. Which of Chartcraft's indicator's do you look to other than the biggies that you both have in common. They rely heavily on their TIR Master Indicator which is one of the cornerstones of their many indicators.
Good to have you back posting again on the thread and thanks for your time and effort for all of us!

Bruce
