OFF TOPIC Carl - I'm already trading online. The whole idea of DRIP is to be able to send each month whatever you can afford in order to purchase shares a little at a time with little or no fees. If I could afford to buy 1000 shares of MSFT, I wouldn't be worried about a $20 broker fee. Thanks just the same for your input. I'll just have to search further for the info regarding direct purchase. Good luck to all, Joyce
