I have spoken to Daryl Stackhouse who warned in the first quarter earnings report that the sales cycle is over six months. Hence, quarterly results are not as important as year end results. Daryl explained to me that "the Dog" ( Labrador Data retriever), saves oil companies money in their operations and so is not as damaged by the oil down turn. He expects a modest profit for the year end. Shell Oil,
Husky Oil, Renaissance, Pan Canadian are a few of the majors which currently use "the Dog" and these companies will not go away even in an oil downturn. I am hoping the stock continues down until I can take a better position. The future looks brighter than the present, and even the present doesn't look so bad.
