Quality Systems Inc. announces the launch of QSINET, the first Internet dental practice management system
TUSTIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1996-- Quality Systems Inc Monday announced the launch of QSINET, a revolutionary new product that enables solo dentists and small dental practices to tap into a powerful practice management system via the Internet for a nominal monthly fee.
QSINET is unique in that it connects dentists to the extensive and growing electronic commerce network for insurance claim and statement submission, and it connects dentists to their patients via e-mail for appointment reminders, treatment recalls, and other patient communications. Future plans also call for QSINET to provide on-line insurance and managed care benefits and fee schedules as well as patient eligibility.
The secured system can be accessed anywhere -- at the office, at home, on vacation -- anytime, using a personal computer with Internet access, meaning the dentist is never more than a quick modem call away from their key practice data. QSINET also links the dentist to many dental industry Web sites, and QSINET will even help practices create and launch their own home pages, enabling them to market their services on the World Wide Web.
QSINET is very affordable and carries no long-term commitment. The cost to participate with QSINET is $200 monthly for a solo dentist, plus $50 per month for each additional dentist. Because the fee is nominal, QSINET enables solo dentists and small practices to gain access to sophisticated computing power via the Internet that they otherwise might not be able to afford.

Getting started on QSINET is easy.
