Mr Don Willoughby reports the company has intersected a high grade base metal zone, the Rigel discovery, 300m southeast and stratigraphically below the Orion gold discovery. The Rigel discovery core interval 84.85 to 85.80 metres assayed as follows:

The Rigel discovery is on an IP anomaly which extends an additional 500m to the southwest. A previous hole drilled 100m to the northeast, intersected 1m grading 1.3% Cu, 19 g/t Ag and 0.5 g/t Au. The plan is to drill this 500m anomaly on 50m spacing to properly test its potential. This new ore intercept is the third sulphide ore grade discovery made on the property by the company, 2.5km southwest of the 1994 Lochinvar discovery and 1km northeast of the 1995 Batters Brook discovery. The company is confident that based on the related Buchans mine district, where 18 separate deposits ranging from 190,000 tonnes to 4 million tonnes each were mined continuously from 1922 to 1972, additional deposits will be discovered on the property. 1996 Canjex Publishing Ltd.
